Club Information

The Panther Soccer Club is a local non-profit community based soccer club that has organized youth teams for the Oswego, Illinois and surrounding area.  The club has an annual membership of about 400 families. 

The Panther Soccer Club organizes competitive teams for both boys and girls starting for those who are age 6 and are turning 7 before July 31st of each year though age 18.  The Panther Soccer Club is one of the oldest more established competitive soccer programs in the southwest Chicago suburban area.  Additionally the Panther Soccer Club organizes several Player Development Programs throughout the year both indoor and outdoor for children pre-school through 5th grade.

The Panther Soccer Club works closely to help place children with special needs with TOP Soccer (www.illinoistopsoccer.org ), which is a national program funded by sponsorship grants to bring the joy of soccer to all youths.

Players train and compete at their highest level. The Panther Soccer Club features adult trainers, who average more than 10 years soccer training experience.  Teams practice & train at one of the Oswegoland Park District outdoor facilities in the fall and spring season and the Ultimate Sports Dome for the winter season.  Home games are played at the Oswego HS South Fields Soccer Complex.


The Panther Soccer Club is a member of the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (www.iysa.org) which is affiliated with the US Youth Soccer Association (www.usyouthsoccer.org). Competitive teams compete either in the Illinois Women's Soccer League (www.iwsl.com), or the Northern Illinois Soccer League (www.northernillinoissoccerleague.com).  Children with special needs participate in the Illinois Top Soccer Association (www.illinoistopsoccer.org).


The Panther Soccer Club is a non-profit volunteer organization. Parental support and participation is important to the well being of the club and the players as well. The Panther Soccer Club makes training programs available for those parents interested in enhancing their participation and enjoyment of the sport through coaching and officiating.

Club Mission

To engage Oswegoland youth in the game of soccer for the purposes of providing superior training and competitive opportunities while instilling the values of the Character Counts pillars: trustwortiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

We will engage parents, coaches and the community in order to support these objectives:

  • to expose preschool to 5th grade youth to soccer through supporting local recreation leagues through player development programs.

  • to provide progressive premier level coaching and competition for qualified players through U-19 youth travel teams.

  • to participate in and host quality soccer tournaments to showcase and promote player development beyond our immediate community.

  • to expose and support soccer for children with special needs through TOP Soccer (www.illinoistopsoccer.org ), a national program funded by sponsorship grants to bring the joy of soccer to all youths.

  • to engage players, parents, coaches, and community members in developing strong youth involvement in the Oswegoland community.
