To provide premier competitive soccer opportunities for Oswegoland youth built around quality professional coaching in conjunction with strong parental and community involvement.
To engage Oswegoland youth in the game of soccer for the purposes of providing superior training and competitive opportunities while instilling the values of the Character Counts pillars: trustwortiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
We will engage parents, coaches and the community in order to support these objectives:
-
to expose preschool to 5th grade youth to soccer through supporting local recreation leagues through player development programs.
-
to provide progressive premier level coaching and competition for qualified players through U-19 youth travel teams.
-
to participate in and host quality soccer tournaments to showcase and promote player development beyond our immediate community.
-
to expose and support soccer for children with special needs through TOP Soccer (www.illinoistopsoccer.org ), a national program funded by sponsorship grants to bring the joy of soccer to all youths.
-
to engage players, parents, coaches, and community members in developing strong youth involvement in the Oswegoland community.
