Q. Who referees our games?
A. Referees are assigned by to every game by a certified referee assignor associated with the home team's club. For the Panther Soccer Club, the current assignor is Ron Colaizzi.
Q. Can anyone referee a game?
A. All center referees must be USSF certified for the current year in order to be assigned to the game. Linesmen at age groups U12 and above must also be certified. For the Panther Soccer Club home games, we only utilize fully certified refs and linesmen at all age groups.
Q. Why do some games have linesmen and others don't?
A. The boys league, NISL, requires linesmen for U12 and above, whereas the girls league, IWSL, requires them for all games U13 and above. Panther Soccer Club has committed to use linesmen for all games U10 and above. Other clubs often do not make this commitment.

Q. How old do I have to be to be a referee?
A. All refs must be 12 years old to go through the certification process.
