Just a few updates before practice starts on Tuesday. The game schedule is posted on the team page although there will be changes, see below. I will be scheduling a Parent meeting in the near future after one of our practices to go over a few things and answer any questions you may have. I have not received the uniforms yet from Soccer 2000, I believe we will be receiving them this week.
Practice
Practice will be Tuesday and Thursday from 4:45 - 6:15 at Fox Chase Park. Try to be there 15 minutes early so we can start right on time. If the Girls are waiting for practice to start they can begin juggling and our normal warm ups. Michael or I will there early unless there is a traffic issue which can happen in the Chicagoland area.
The Girls should wear a BLUE shirt on Tuesdays for practice and a ORANGE shirt on Thursdays for practice. They should not wear their game jersey's to practice.
Foot Skills/Goal Keeper Training
Foot Skills and goal Keeper training will alternate weeks. Foot skills will be Monday/Friday this week then Goal Keeper training will be Monday/Friday next week the two trainings will continue to alternate weeks throughout the season. You can choose which day works best for you(Monday or Friday) and attend that day. They will both take place at Prairie Fest park from 6:00 - 6:45 pm
Foot skills will start this week and will be at Prairie Fest park on Monday and Friday.
Fall Schedule
The Fall schedule is posted on the web site. I will be changing the 9/21 game since we have the galaxy tournament that weekend. I will also trying to change the game time of the 10/26 game to 9:00 am, and I need to add our bye game in(since there is an odd number of teams in the division the IWSL has the coaches schedule the odd game). I am looking to schedule the two make up games on Saturdays. The primary dates for make up I have are 9/13, 9/27, or 10/18. If any of those dates will not work let me know.
If you know you will be missing a game or a conflict comes up let me know ASAP.
Tournament
We are currently scheduled for the Galaxy Tournament in Naperville September 19- 21. If you have a conflict let me know ASAP.
