The Panther Soccer Club Girls U11 Pride started off the season on fire with two division wins in three days. Friday night the Pride defeated the NSA Premier Lasers 3-1 on stellar goal keeping by Cali Bonie and Madison Pence and strong defense by Kamryn Coppes and Allyson Simon. Goals were scored by Kelsey Kraft, Caitlyn Lukowski, and Lauren Wilson. Assists on the goals were provided by Kristi Zimbelmann, Mikaela Mockenhaupt, and Kelsey Kraft.

On Sunday, the Pride closed out the weekend with a beautiful win on a beautiful day for soccer. The Pride defeated the Chicago Fires Juniors 6-3 on goals by Kraft (5) and Zimbelmann (1). Assisting on the goals were midfielders Mockenhaupt (2), Lukowski (2), Courtney Gardner (1), and goalie Pence (1) with a perfectly positioned punt to Kraft at the end of the first half. Coppes, Bonie, Simon, Wilson, and Emily Nagel put in a strong defensive effort, while Eliza Soyars and Courtney Gardner provided great support at forward and midfield. Midfielders Mockenhaupt, Zimbelmann, and Lukowski controled the ball and provided opportunities for forward Kraft who finished terrifically scoring five goals. Cali Bonie played excellent in goal during the second half to close out the victory.
