The U-11 Orange Crush entered the Spring 2010 season with the goal of wining the CW division. In week one they started the season off right with a 3-1 victory over TCSA AC. The team came out strong defensively behind the efforts of sweeper Emily Brandt and defenders Abby Fioresi and Camryn Beyers. Kacie Moran spent time in the midfield and premiered in goal for her first outdoor game. She along with Rachel Mittlestaedt did a fine job of protecting the net.  This set the stage for the offensive attack from newcomer Carissa Brown who scored her first goal with the team, along with scores from Cori Welch and Mittlestaedt. Rylynn McCaw used her size and strength to muscle her way at midfield and put the opposition on their heels.  In week two the Crush welcomed the TCSA Fury to Oswego and while they played an intense game, it ended in a draw.  Brianna Welch turned in a phenomenal effort at left mid with tenacious defense and unselfish passing. Her sister Cori controlled the mid-field traffic as center mid, distributing balls into open passing lanes for the offensive attack. Alyssa Radakovich used her superb foot skills to out maneuver the competition and set her teammates up with countless shots on goal. In the end, the defensive struggle ended in a 0-0 tie.

Hoping to notch another victory in week three, the Crush traveled to Naperville to play Galaxy in a rematch of their indoor play.  Both teams worked hard in the first half to gain an edge, but the game seemed flat. While the Crush dominated the game with time of possession, Galaxy was the first to score.  Within minutes, Moran answered back to tie the game. The Crush peppered Galaxy's goalie throughout the game but again their efforts were thwarted.  At the end of 60 minutes, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
