The U11 Prowlers traveled to Darien to take on the Swarm last Sunday and it was cold. The Prowlers started off the game on a nice goal from Jackson Frazer who followed up a shot by Nathan Molina. Frazer calmly deposited the shot in the back of the net. The Swarm came back strong to score two goals and go up 2-1. The defense of the Prowlers led by Hunter Short, Tim Mackey, Mitch Blocker and Michael Panek did a find job in limiting the shots by the Swarm. The midfield of Chris Grober, Mitch Kearby, Tyler DeBoer kept up the attack and had some nice crosses during the game. Gabriel Lopez and Jakob Slavin made some great runs for the Prowlers as well as Chase Bruns but the Prowlers could not get any additional goals past the Darien goalie. The final score ended up being 3-1. Adrian Veseli played a very good game in goal for the Prowlers. The Prowlers next home game is Saturday the 17th at PrairieFest Park at 3:00.
