The U11 Prowlers ended the Fall season on a strong note October 31st. The played the Bolingbrook Raiders and played yet another strong team game and won 13-1. Chris Grober started off the scoring by taking a strong shot from the right side and past the goalie for a 1-0 Prowler lead. Grober wasn’t done yet. He netted a total of 3 goals on the day and led the charge for the Prowlers. Tim Mackey also contributed netting three goals of his own. One goal for Mackey was a break away that he stuffed in the corner while another was a half volley he deposited in the back of the net. Gabe Lopez got in on the act as well getting two goals of his own and also playing some very nice defense for the Prowlers.
Hunter Short, Nathan Molina, Adrian Veseli, Tyler DeBoer and Micheal Panek played very well for the Prowlers as well starting numerous offensive attacks for the Prowlers. Additional goals were scored by Jakob Slavin (great shot in the left corner), Mitch Kearby (beautiful break away shot), Mitch Blocker (nice move and shot past the goalie) Jackson Frazer (hustling to get a hard shot in the bottom corner) and Chase Bruns (great shot in the upper 90). The Prowlers were able to get 10 assists in the game on 13 goals. Some great passing was done by the Prowlers to get to the open players.
This win gave the Prowlers a mark of 7-2-1 in division play this Fall and a total mark of 11-2-1 including a Tournament Championship. A great job by the players this fall playing so well as a TEAM. The Prowlers would like to thank all of the families for coming out and supporting the team.
