On Sunday, April 17th, the Stars opened the Spring '11 season against Eclipse. The Stars started the scoring early, when Riley Cassian took a crossing pass from Mia Lakstigala and put the ball in the left corner of the net. Unfortunately, Eclipse managed to score the next two goals to take a 2-1 lead. The Stars then took over with Mia Lakstigala again centering a ball to Holly Sutkay who knocked the ball past the keeper for the 2-2 tie. The final goal of the day was scored by Mia Lakstigala who raced down the field and beat the keeper one-on-one for the game winner. Great start to the Spring Season!
